Very Nice Lie‑Nielsen No. 112 Cabinetmaker’s Large Scraper Plane – Long DiscontinuedA very nice Lie‑Nielsen No. 112 Cabinetmaker’s Scraper Plane, long discontinued and increasingly hard to find. This example came directly from a working shop and shows honest signs of use, but remains in solid, fully functional condition — exactly what you want in a tool built for taming the most difficult grain. The No. 112 is Lie‑Nielsen’s interpretation of the classic Stanley 112, prized for its ability to produce glass‑smooth surfaces on highly figured, reversing, or otherwise troublesome woods. With its large sole, adjustable blade pitch, and substantial mass, it excels where standard planes struggle.Since Lie‑Nielsen discontinued the 112 years ago, clean user examples like this have become sought after by both woodworkers and collectors.
