Superb Record / Marples No. 60½ low‑angle block plane,
A crisp and exceptionally clean example from the later English production era.
The casting is bright and true, the machining is sharp, and the adjuster works smoothly through its full range. The sole and cheeks present beautifully, showing only the lightest evidence of careful handling. This is the classic 60½ pattern — comfortable in the hand, easy to control, and ideal for end grain, trimming, and fine bench work. A top‑grade example for both users who want a precise low‑angle block plane and collectors who appreciate clean Record/Marples transitional pieces.
