Superb Ebony & Brass Ultimatum Brace
With Full Ring in Head
A True Showpiece
A truly superb ebony & brass Ultimatum brace, one of the most iconic and visually striking forms in the entire world of antique woodworking tools. This example has everything collectors hope to find—clean, elegant brass work, rich ebony throughout, and most importantly, the full ring in the head, a feature that dramatically elevates both rarity and desirability.
The ebony has deep, even color with beautiful early surface, and the brass components show crisp edges and classic 19th‑century detailing. The proportions are perfect, the presentation is outstanding, and the overall look is exactly what makes Ultimatums the centerpiece of so many premium collections.
This is not just a brace—it’s a true showpiece, the kind of example that immediately commands attention in any display.
