Superb E.C.E. Garantie 8 5/8″ Scraping Plane with Toothing Iron – Appears UnusedA superb example of the E.C.E. Garantie scraping plane, measuring 8 5/8″ long and fitted with a toothing iron. This plane appears unused, with clean surfaces, crisp edges, and no signs of wear. E.C.E. (Emil Carl Emil) is known for its high‑quality German woodworking tools, and their scraping planes are especially valued for tackling difficult grain and producing smooth, controlled surfaces. The included toothing iron makes this plane ideal for veneer work, highly figured woods, and surface preparation where tear‑out is a concern. Examples in this condition are increasingly hard to find.
