A superb Davis Patent / M. W. Robinson 12″ filigree iron level, one of the most elegant and collectible forms ever produced in American level‑making. The ornate filigree cast‑iron frame shows crisp, flowing detail with none of the softness or wear that often plagues these early examples. This one has real presence—clean lines, sharp edges, and that unmistakable Davis‑era sculptural quality.
All vials are wet and working, a major plus on these, and they sit beautifully in their seats with clear, easy reading. The overall condition is extra nice, far above the typical survivor and absolutely display‑worthy.
A standout Davis/Robinson filigree level—ornate, functional, and exceptionally well‑preserved.
