A super nice Stanley No. 10½ Carriage Makers Rabbet Plane, Type 1, complete with its adjustable mouth and fitted with a nice long Stanley “Made in U.S.A.” iron—a very desirable early example of this scarce and highly functional pattern.
The Type 1 No. 10½ is the earliest and most sought‑after version, identifiable by its early hardware and the classic adjustable‑mouth mechanism that made this model so useful for carriage makers, patternmakers, and anyone working deep rabbets or cross‑grain cuts. This one is 100% complete.
