Stanley No. 605 1/2 Bedrock Jointer PlaneFlat‑Side Model • Sweetheart Iron
Stanley No. 605 1/2 Bedrock Jointer Plane, the wide‑body jointer in the legendary Bedrock line. This is the desirable flat‑side model, offering improved stability and a more modern profile compared to the earlier round‑side versions. It’s fitted with a Sweetheart‑era iron. These “flat‑top” Bedrocks are highly sought after by users. They feature the triple‑screw frog design, which allows you to adjust the frog while the iron is set, letting you dial in the mouth opening with absolute precision. Bedrocks also use a frog that mates fully with the machined bed at the mouth, creating a far more solid assembly than standard Baileys. This design dramatically reduces chatter — hence the name “Bedrock.”The knob and tote appear to have been re‑lacquered, giving them a clean, refreshed look while maintaining the classic Bedrock profile.Always Free Shipping
