Phenomenal Cincinnati Tool Co. No. 386 Convex Spokeshave
The Best Example We Have Seen
A phenomenal Cincinnati Tool Co. No. 386 convex spokeshave—without question the best example we have seen. These early Cincinnati Tool Co. shaves are already scarce, but finding one in this level of condition is extraordinary.
The body is crisp with excellent lines, the sole is clean and true, and the cutter is sharp with strong markings. The overall presentation is far above typical examples, showing minimal wear and an untouched, well‑preserved surface that speaks to careful storage rather than hard use.
A truly standout piece for the serious spokeshave collector—a top‑tier No. 386 that would be difficult to upgrade.
