New, Unused Lie‑Nielsen No. 97½ Small Chisel Plane — Mint ConditionOffered is a pristine, new and unused Lie‑Nielsen No. 97½ Small Chisel Plane. This example has never been put to wood and remains exactly as it left the factory, with crisp machining, flawless edges, and a clean, untouched A2 iron. The 97½ is Lie‑Nielsen’s precision chisel plane, designed for trimming into corners, leveling glue lines, cleaning tenon shoulders, and working where a standard plane cannot reach. Its low profile and full‑width blade make it exceptionally effective for fine detail work.Unused examples are increasingly difficult to find, especially given Lie‑Nielsen’s intermittent production schedule. This is an ideal piece for both users seeking top‑tier performance and collectors looking for a clean, untouched example.Always free shipping from Michael Rouillard Tools.
