This adapter for the Veritas Mk.II Standard Honing Guide (76389, sold separately) expands its blade-holding capacity to allow consistent, accurate honing of mortise chisels. It increases the space between the roller base and the Narrow Blade Clamping Head (73697, sold separately) to accommodate the thicker blades of mortise chisels, holding blades up to 11/16” thick. Cast from a zinc-aluminum alloy.
