Minty In Box Stanley No. 50S Combination Plow Plane – Complete with Often Missing Chip DeflectorA superb example of Stanley’s versatile No. 50S combination plow plane, presented in mint condition and housed in its original box. Designed for cutting grooves, rabbets, the No. 50S was one of Stanley’s most adaptable specialty planes. This set is complete, including the often missing chip deflector, a small but critical accessory that improves performance and is rarely found intact with these planes. The cutters are clean, the nickel plating is bright, and the adjustment mechanisms operate smoothly.Stanley’s No. 50S remains a favorite among both collectors and craftspeople for its utility and scarcity in complete form. Mint boxed examples with all parts present are increasingly rare, making this a highlight addition to any serious collection.Always free shipping from Michael Rouillard Tools.
