A hard‑to‑find Bailey Tool Co. Woonsocket, RI No. 7‑size patented jointer plane
one of the tougher early Bailey examples to source in any condition. Both the iron and cap iron are properly marked, which is uncommon and adds significantly to its appeal for collectors . The lever cap is wonderful, retaining both back horns and showing the crisp form these early caps are known for. The adjuster works smoothly with no issues. The tote has a reglued tip,and shown clearly in the photos. Overall, it’s an honest, scarce example of Bailey’s patented jointer, with the right parts and the right look.
