Great User Stanley Bedrock No. 604
Smooth Bottom Plane • Mechanically Ready to Work
A great user‑grade Stanley Bedrock No. 604 Smooth Bottom Plane, fully tuned mechanically and ready to work. This is the classic Bedrock smoother that serious hand‑tool users reach for—compact, precise, and built on Stanley’s most advanced frog and bed system.
These flat‑top Bedrocks are highly sought after by users. They feature the triple‑screw frog design, which allows you to adjust the frog while the iron is set, letting you tighten the mouth with utter precision. Bedrocks also have a frog that mates completely with the edge of the mouth, creating a much more solid assembly. This eliminates chatter and gives the plane its famously smooth performance.
