True Barn‑Find Stanley No. 2 Smooth‑Bottom Plane — Untouched • Long Stanley Iron • Solid Example
A true barn find, completely untouched, and exactly the kind of honest Stanley No. 2 collectors love. The plane has a nice long Stanley iron, far longer than what is usually found on barn‑stored examples, and the casting is solid with crisp edges throughout.
The rosewood tote and knob have that dry, undisturbed surface that only decades of storage create. The sole is smooth, the adjuster turns freely, and the plane has that genuine “as‑found” integrity that makes these small smoothers so appealing.
