Great Lie‑Nielsen No. 1 Bronze Plane — Long Discontinued
Offered here is a Lie‑Nielsen No. 1 Bronze Bench Plane, a highly sought‑after model that has been long discontinued and continues to grow in rarity among collectors and premium tool users.
This example shows smudge marks around the body, the kind of light cosmetic handling wear commonly seen on bronze planes, but nothing that affects performance. All parts are sound, and the plane remains a fine example of this iconic small smoother.
A wonderful opportunity to acquire a discontinued Lie‑Nielsen No. 1 in bronze—perfect for the collector’s cabinet or the craftsman who appreciates the finest tools ever made.
