Auriou Hand‑Stitched Rasp / File — Marked “10”
Original Auriou Case • 13″ Overall • 7″ Cutting Length
A well‑preserved Auriou rasp/file marked “10”, measuring 13″ overall with a 7″ long metal cutting surface. The teeth are crisp, sharp, and show only light signs of handling—consistent with a tool that has seen little actual use. The cut is ideal for controlled shaping and medium refinement, offering the fast, smooth performance Auriou is known for.
This example comes in its original Auriou case, a welcome addition for collectors and users who appreciate complete, properly stored tools. Auriou’s hand‑stitched rasps remain the benchmark for fine shaping work, and clean examples like this are increasingly difficult to find.
A quality French‑made rasp ready for the bench or the tool cabinet.
