Extra Nice Stanley No. 171 Door Router Plane — Complete with All 3 Cutters & Fence
An extra nice Stanley No. 171 Door Router Plane, complete with all three original cutters and the correct fence. The 171 is one of Stanley’s most useful specialty planes for door fitting, hinge recessing, and precision depth‑controlled work, and complete examples are increasingly hard to find.
This plane is clean, crisp, and mechanically excellent, with smooth depth adjustment and tight hardware. The cutters are in strong condition, and the fence is correct and ready for use. A well‑preserved example of a tool that often shows heavy wear.
A desirable, fully equipped 171—ideal for both collectors and working craftsmen.
