Extra Nice Leonard Bailey Victor No. 4 Smoothing Plane
With Adjuster — Adjuster Turns Freely, Stud Worn
An extra nice Leonard Bailey Victor No. 4 Smoothing Plane, complete with the classic Victor-style adjuster. The plane has the clean, well‑preserved look these early Bailey/Victor models are known for, with crisp lines, proper hardware, and a great overall presentation.
The adjuster wheel turns freely, but the small stud that engages the iron is worn, so it does not fully catch the iron as intended. This is a common wear point on Victor adjusters,
A solid, honest Victor smoother with great character and a minor, well‑described adjuster issue.
