An extra‑fine Stanley No. 100 flat‑sole tail‑handled block plane, complete in its original box, and a wonderfully crisp example of one of Stanley’s most charming small specialty planes.
This flat‑sole version has the classic 100 profile paired with the distinctive tail handle, giving it a surprisingly secure, comfortable grip in use. The plane is exceptionally clean—bright surfaces, tight hardware, and no signs of real handling or shop wear. The original box is a major plus, as boxed 100s are far less common than their curved‑sole counterparts and add real collector appeal.
A sharp, tidy, and highly desirable example of a small Stanley specialty plane that always draws interest from both users and collectors.
