An early, extra‑heavy 12″ solid brass level in its original tin box, a substantial and very appealing example from the period when these were built with real mass. The vial is wet and working, and it features the early‑style vial cutout seen on the first generations of brass levels. The tin box survives—back flap missing—but still adds strong collector value, as these tins almost never make it to the present day.
A handsome, character‑rich early 12″ brass level with its original box.
