A dead‑mint, in‑box Starrett No. 86A Combination Hand Vise with Clamp, an absolutely top‑shelf example of one of Starrett’s most elegant small holding tools. This one is as crisp as they come—clean surfaces, flawless knurling, perfect jaw alignment, and the clamp untouched in its slot.
The original box is superb, with strong color and sharp edges, and the tool itself shows no signs of handling or shop use. The 86A is already a desirable model, but finding one mint and complete in the box elevates it into true collector territory.
A pristine, investment‑grade Starrett—hard to imagine a finer example.
