A show‑stopper early cooper’s croze plane in its original red paint, an almost unheard‑of surviving surface for a working cooper’s tool. The red is deep, warm, and worn in all the right places, showing that perfect blend of age, use, and authenticity. It’s fitted with a brass sole and a skewed iron, giving it both visual punch and the refined functionality these early crozes were known for.
A dramatic, early, and exceptionally original example with the kind of untouched red surface collectors dream about.
